Collector Car Appreciation Day Celebration - July 10th 2015

Tens of thousands of passionate Automotive hobbyist around the country will polishing up their rides and cruising to a Collector Car Appreciation Event in their area This weekend. Where will you be?

July 10th marks the 6th year of a U.S. Senate resolution designating this day National Collector Car Appreciation Day! Thanks to SEMA, the Senate recognizes the automotive hobby as an essential contribution to the evolution to the automobile.

Hobbyist across America and around the world celebrate the passion of our popular hobby by driving their rides to car meets, car shows, and a variety of other celebration events. Lawmakers Acknowledge Importance of Collection and Restoration of Collector Cars

The U.S. Senate passed Senate Resolution 196 (S. Res. 196) at the request of the SEMA Action Network (SAN) designating July 10, 2015 as “Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD).”  S. Res. 196 was sponsored by Congressional Automotive Performance and Motorsports Caucus Co-Chairs Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) and Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).  The date marks the sixth commemoration in what has become an annual event to celebrate and raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.
